Publications according to article 4(1) of REMIT

Centrica will publish on these pages information in respect of any of its assets that it considers to constitute inside information pursuant to the European Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (EU 1227/2011), which took effect on 28 December 2011.

Information about Centrica’s generation assets

View a fact sheet in relation to the running and operation of our generation assets, including information on our REMIT approach and key static data, such as the Balancing Mechanism Unit (BMU) ID and capacity. A BMU is a collection of plant and/or apparatus that can be independently controlled. The BMU identifier is the industry code that is used to uniquely identify each BMU.

We provide information to National Grid (in accordance with our obligations under the Grid Code) on the current status and availability of our generation assets. Recent BMRS data can be found using the following link

Outages - urgent market messages

We will simultaneously publish information in respect of any of its generation assets that it considers to constitute inside information pursuant to REMIT to operated by Elexon, and to this website. In the event that there are any inconsistencies between such information, the information set out on this website shall take precedence.

Supplementary market notifications

View information in respect of the availability of our generation assets that is not otherwise contained in the latest or historic UMM sections.
